Mrs. Louis (Anna L.) Raatz, 94, of 1859 New York Ave., Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon in Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Alfred Klumb will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Raatz, nee Anna Hrabik was born June 3, 1883 in Kewaunee, daughter of the late Martin and Anna Powell Hrabik. She grew up and was educated in Kewaunee, moving to Green Bay in 1902. She moved to Manitowoc in 1915 where she was married to Otto Behrendt in 1902. He preceded her in death in 1913. She was married to Louis G. Raatz in July, 1916 in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death August 31, 1960. Mrs. Raatz was a former member of the Womens Relief Corp.
Survivors include a son, Robert of Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Sylvester (Elaine) Endries of Manitowoc; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. A son, William; four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 4 oclock to 9 oclock this Wednesday evening and Thursday until the time of service.
