Mr. Peter P. Pozorski, 85, a resident of North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc,
formerly of 1433 N. 6th Street, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, February 11, 1987
at the Care Center. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Saturday at Harrigan
Parkside Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Harold Berryman with burial
to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Pozorski was born September 2, 1901 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, son of the late
Xavier and Ella Poklinkoski Pozorski. Mr. Pozorski was employed at Spindler Coal
Company for 20 years, retiring in 1968. He married the former Frieda Schaefer on
April 27, 1940 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Mr. Pozorski was a member of St. Mary
Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Frieda; a daughter and a son-in-law, Sandra and
Charles Brandl of Manitowoc; two brothers and a sister-in-law, John Pozorski
and Henry and Delores Pozorski, all of Manitowoc; five sisters and four brothers-
in-law, Frances and Stanley Lusnia, Ella Cichantek, Anna and Ed Fickett and Emily
and George Wheeler, all of Manitowoc and Alice and Lavern Polley of Van Couver,
Washington; three grandchildren, Ronald, Dawn and Paul Rauens, all of Manitowoc
and other relative and friends survive. He was preceded in death by three sisters
and two brothers.
Friends may call at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 pm to 9 pm
Friday. Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 pm Friday evening.
