EMMA SIEBOLD PETSKA
Mrs. Emil Petska, 66, of 615 Buffalo street, died at her home early this
afternoon following a lingering illness.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral
home with burial in Evergreen cemetery.
Born Emma Fidler on her parent's farm in the town of Cooperstown in 1882,
the deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fidler. In 1905
she was married to Wencel Siebold of Maribel and the couple moved to this
city to make their home.
Mr. Siebold died in 1928 and she was married to Emil Petska of this city in
1932, The couple had continued to live here since then.
Mrs. Petska was a member of the local ZCBJ lodge.
Surviving are the husband; a son, Ralph Siebold of route 5, Manitowoc; a
daughter, Mrs. Wencel Fogltanz of Manitowoc; three brothers, Frank Fidler of
this city, Adolph of route 5, Manitowoc, and John of Silver Hill of Alabama;
three sisters, Mrs. Jake Kubichek of Manitowoc, Mrs. Charles Hoppe of Milwaukee,
and Mrs. Frank Kvitek of Maribel; and two grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Wednesday noon until the time
of services Thursday afternoon.
