Gerry enjoyed many wonderful things in life, spending time with
his granddaughter and soon to be daughter-in-law. He always stated
that time was precious with (private) so he had to enjoy the little
time he had together with them while he could. Gerry also enjoyed
riding his Harley with (private) as the co-pilot; they
enjoyed taking Sunday rides together wherever the bike would take
them. Detailing vehicles was a time of relaxation for him, his
Corvette needed to have a mirror finish before he would take it
out of the garage. If he wasn't detailing cars for friends and
neighbors, he could be found with his nose in an Auto Trader
looking for the next car to tell (private) about. He always
looked forward to have Cheetoh (the cat) come and stay at Grandpa's.
When the two were together they could always be found asleep in the
recliner with the remote close at hand. He enjoyed his daughter-in-
law (private) delicious cooking and baking, especially when she
spoiled him by baking special treats for him. Also, a special thank
you to his Godchild, (private), who was at his side during his
difficult time in the past two weeks. He will greatly be missed by
his two special little friends: (private); who called him Grandpa
Gerry and always looked to him for a hug or a smile. Gerry will
sadly be missed on May 19, 2007, the date of (private) wedding,
but will be there watching over the ceremony in spirit. Gerry will
always be in our hearts as a son, brother, husband, and shining
example of a father.
