MARY PENTZIEN
Mrs. August Pentzien, 85, of 722 N. 9th St. Manitowoc, died Thursday
morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gervase Zanotti will officiate and
burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Pentzien, nee Mary Flegel, was born June 28, 1884, in Town of West
Kewaunee, daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Dedina Flegel. She was
married to August Pentzien, March 10, 1905, at Manitowoc. Her husband
preceded her in death in 1938.
Survivors include a son, William, of Elgin, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs.
Caroline Haff, of Geneseo, Ill., and Mrs. Doris Hall, of Benichia,
Calif.; a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Erdman,
of Manitowoc; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
The casket will remain closed.
Memorials may be made by choice of donor.
