Mrs. Olive Ann Pekarske, nee Kadow, wife of Dr. A.A. Pekarske, 2102 Washington
street, died at the family home early this morning of a heart ailment.
Funeral services will be held Saturday with services at 8:30 a.m. from the
Pfeffer Funeral home and at nine o'clock at St. Boniface Catholic church. The
Rev. Anthony Baier will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the Pfeffer Funeral home from Thursday afternoon
until the time of the funeral.
Mrs. Pekarske was born in Milwaukee on September 1, 1900, and came to Manitowoc
with her parents a year later. She was married to Dr. Pekarske in 1919.
Survivors are the widower; twin daughters, Beverly and Alberta; father, Adolph C.
Kadow Sr.; and two brothers, Dr. A.M. Kadow of Chicago and Adolph Kadow Jr. of
Manitowoc. Her mother died seven years ago.
Mrs. Pekarske was a member of the St. Anne-C.M.A. society of St. Boniface church,
and of the St. Theresa Aid Society. The St. Anne society will recite the rosary
at the funeral home on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
