THOMAS JOSEPH PECH

Thomas J. Pech, age 53, of 1636 S. Ninth Street Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 1, 2003 at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2003 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Robert Drobka with burial of the cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc at a later date. Tom was born on Dec. 2, 1949 in Manitowoc, son of Lester and Shirley Jagodinsky Pech. He was a graduate of St. Andrew Parochial School and Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1968. Tom was employed at Vinyl Plastic's in Manitowoc for 20 years. He was a member of the Viking Bow & Gun Club. Survivors include his parents: Lester and Shirley Pech, Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Gary and Pam Pech, Eden Prairie, Minn., Jim and Tina Pech, Wauwatosa; a step niece: Kristi Wasmer-Blaiser and her husband Mark; a step-nephew: Noah Wasmer; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc on Friday Jan. 3, 2003 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. The family extends sincere appreciation for the loving care given to Tom at Aurora Medical Center and River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center. He enjoyed woodworking & riding his Harley Davidson. Tom was a loving son and brother who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
