Hilda B. Pankratz, 86, died late Saturday evening, August 16, 1986 at St. Mary
Home for the Aged, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Wednesday at
Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Leo Schmitt and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Pankratz was born November 8, 1899 in Manitowoc County, daughter of the
late Martin and Mary Rappel Einberger. She married Bernard Pankratz on
September 4, 1922 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. He preceded her in
death on December 8, 1974. The couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary
in 1972.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Robert D. and Sandra of
Manitowoc, Daniel M. and Barbara of Manitowoc, Bernard J. and Virginia of Texas,
William J. and Marion of Brillion; a daughter, Mrs. Francis (Marjorie) Bushman
of Manitowoc; 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by a brother, Clarence and two sisters, Florence and Agnes.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 9 pm Tuesday where
a prayer service will be at 7:30 pm by Deacon Donald Schneider.
