From Der Nord Westen, 05 Sept. 1889:
Carl Pangburn died Mon. morning in the house of his father-in-law, Mr.
Green. The deceased worked here many years in the barber trade but had
a difficult time the past year because of illness with consumption.

IN PROBATE-MANITOWOC COUNTY COURT.
In the matter of the estate of Carl E. Pangburn, deceased.
On reading and filing the petition of Mrs. C.E. Pangburn, of Manitowoc, Wis., representing among other things that Carl E. Pangburn, late of Manitowoc City, on the 2nd day of September, A.D., 1889, at Manitowoc City died intestate, leaving goods, chattels and estate within this state to be administered, and that said petitioner is the widow of said deceased, and praying that administration of said estate be to said petitioner granted, it is ordered that said petition be heard before this court, on Tuesday; the 29th day of October, A.D., 1889, at 10 o'clock A.M, at my office in said county.
Ordered further, that notice thereof be given to the heirs of said deceased, and to all persons interested, by publishing a copy of this order for three successive weeks prior to said day of hearing, in the Manitowoc Pilot a weekly newspaper published at Manitowoc in said county.
Dated at Manitowoc, the 1st day of October, A.D., 1889.
