Lucille (Lucy) Luebke, age 86, a resident of Sacred heart Court, Manitowoc, died
Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2001 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001 at St. Mary
Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be
the Rev. Roman Zbieranski, O.F.M. with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
She was born Feb. 19, 1915, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Jan and Agnes
Glysch. Lucy was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of
1934. On Sept. 28, 1940 she married Clarence W. Luebke in Appleton, Wis. He
preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 1986. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic
Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Luebke, Franklin, Wis.; a brother-in-law,
Richard Luebke, Two Rivers; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Leslie (Sylvia) Peterson,
Manitowoc, Mrs. Gerald (Lorraine) Watson, Plant City, Fla.; nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by
three brothers and five sisters.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Mary Catholic Church,
Manitowoc, from 8:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at 9:30 a.m.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
