Floyd J. Loritz, age 75, of 909 S. 31st St., Manitowoc, died Friday
evening, December 1, 1995, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 1995,
at the Pfeffer Funeral Home. Rev. Theodore Sauer will officiate.
He was born October 14, 1920, in Manitowoc, Wis., son of the late
Julius and Josephine Holzer Lortiz. Floyd was a veteran of World War
II serving in the Pacific Theatre from 1942 to 1946. He was honorably
discharged as a Sergeant First class. He was employed with the Burger
Boat Company for 22 years, retiring in 1973.
Survivors include four brothers and four sisters-in-law, Kenneth Loritz,
Manitowoc, Mrs. Lester (Joyce) Loritz, Valders, Clemens and Virginia
Loritz, Springfield, Mass., Charles Loritz, Townsend, Wis., Gerald and
Mary Loritz, Kingman, Ariz., Mrs. Margaret Loritz, Manitowoc; two
sisters and three brothers-in-law, Mrs. Beatrice Moore, Francis Creek,
Cerella and Arthur Schlei, Manitowoc, Richard Ratajczak, Manitowoc,
Lloyd Ford, Valley Park, Mo.; a special niece, Mrs. Timothy (Lisa) Kiefer;
numerous nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends survive.
He is further survived by four very special neighbors, Rev. Theodore
Sauer, Warden, Joan and Mary Ann Gun.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home until
the time of service at 11 a.m. There will be no Monday evening visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Kayla Garrigan Memorial Fund of Bethany
Lutheran Church or to the donor's choice.
