Florence Loonstra, 86, of Family Heritage Medical and Rehabilitation Center, mother of Arlene (Al) Goska, Wisconsin Rapids, and Frank Pilger Jr., Leesburg, Fla., died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 1995, at the center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Timothy Kinne will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Loonstra was born Nov. 15, 1909, in Manitowoc, to Paul and Emma (Boeckman) Ligman Sr. She married Frank Pilger in 1928, in Manitowoc. He died in 1950. She married Claus Loonstra in 1974, in Wisconsin Rapids. He died in 1987.
She was a saleslady for Hamer’s Bakery and Hal’s Red Owl.
Survivors include one son, Frank Pilger, Jr., Leesburg, Fla.; one daughter, Arlene (Al) Goska, Wisconsin Rapids; two stepsons, Robert Loonstra, Arpin, and John Loonstra, Marshfield; two stepdaughters, Loretta Wilhelm, Arpin, and Carol LeMay, Rudolph; 10 grandchildren; 18 stepgrandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. She also was predeceased by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ritchay Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. Friday, and at the church from 9-10 a.m. Saturday.
Memorials may be designated to Immanuel Lutheran School or Family Heritage Auxiliary.
