Eunice Viola Lochmann, age 85, of 2214 Menasha Ave., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning, April 1, 2004, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Gerald Foley with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. She was born Oct. 24, 1918, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Alfred A. and Viola Broeker Greenwald. Eunice was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, class of 1936. On Nov. 20, 1941, she married Robert A. Lochmann at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death July 23, 1991. Eunice was involved in local family businesses, including Greenwald Grocery Store, Cape Cod Inn and Lochmann's Radio & TV Service. She was an avid league bowler in Manitowoc for 24 consecutive years, competing in local, state and national tournaments. Survivors include her children and their spouses: Dennis and Sharalyn Lochmann, Valders; Barbara Lochmann, Manitowoc; David and Marianne Lochmann, Manitowoc; Chris Lochmann, Manitowoc; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Renee) Lochmann, Madison; Gregory Lochmann, Manitowoc; Lynda Lochmann, Manitowoc; four great-grandchildren: Robert James, Joseph Alexander, Jared Michael and Sydney Maya Lochmann; three brothers and sisters-in-law: the Rev. Alfred Greenwald, Tucson, Ariz.; Fred and Rita Greenwald, Springfield, Ill.; Daniel and Catherine Greenwald, Manitowoc; and an aunt: Silvena Van Patten, Manitowoc. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will greet relatives and friends at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Holy Innocents Catholic Church, or the Alzheimer's Association. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. The family wishes to thank the professional staff of Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Froedtert Hospital, Manitowoc Health Care Center and Holy Family HomeCare. Eunice loved being involved with her family. They were the center of her life. She was an excellent cook and we will especially miss her lasagna, chicken and dumplings, kase kuchen and stollen. Eunice also enjoyed decorating, gardening, flower arranging, the Green Bay Packers and reminiscing about Manitowoc's history. She was a regular Heart-A-Rama attendee, who was looking forward to this year's performance. God Bless You Mom.
