Mrs. Harvey L. (Althea B.) Lippert, 72, of 1427 Hamann Road, Manitowoc, died
Wednesday evening, July 11, 1990 at her residence. Funeral services will be
10:30 am Saturday at St. James Episcopal Church, Manitowoc. Mass of Christian
burial will be celebrated by Rev. David L. Klutterman with burial to follow at
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born January 10, 1918 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Leo E. and
Ida M. Schmidt Brandt. She grew up and was educated at Manitowoc and was a 1935
graduate of Lincoln High School. She was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company for
over 40 years, retiring in 1983. She married Harvey L. Lippert on August 30,
1946 at St. James Episcopal Church, Manitowoc where they have been continuous
members.
Survivors include her husband, Harvey, two brothers, Leo M. (Bud) Brandt, United
States Army (Ret.) of Elkin, West Virginia, David G. Brandt, of Hugo, Oklahoma;
three sisters, Shirley Chavez of Manitowoc, Marilyn Larson of Elkhart, Indiana,
Rosilyn Pistotnik of Hayden Lake, Idaho; nieces, nephews and other relatives
and friends survive. She was preceded in death by a brother, John and a sister,
June Stehn. Friends may call at Reinhard Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
4 pm to 8 pm this Friday and Saturday at the church from 10 am until the time
of service. Memorials would be appreciated to St. James Episcopal Church.
