DELORIS LINN

Deloris Marie Linn, age 89, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother,
entered eternal life on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 14, 2009, at her residence.
The former Deloris Hamernik was born Aug. 30, 1920, in Manitowoc, daughter of
the late Adolph and Clara Schlager Hamernik. She was a graduate of Manitowoc
Lincoln High School. On Feb. 8, 1941, Deloris was married to Stanley Alex Linn.
He preceded her in death on May 18, 1991. Deloris worked for many years at
Globe Laundry and Dry Cleaning and for many years helped her son, Jack, at
Jack's R Better and also helped her friend, Hildegarde, at the Natural Market
store. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
Deloris's favorite times were spent with her children, grandchildren and great-
grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her, and everyone will
miss her pear pies.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents: Adolph and Clara Hamernik; her
husband: Stanley Alex Linn; and three sisters: Irene Maedke, Florine Brull and
Gladys Kreie.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at St. James
Episcopal Church, 434 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Diane Murray will
officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may
call at St. James Episcopal Church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of
services at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in
her name. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is serving the
Linn family.
Thanks to all of Deloris's family and friends, especially her niece, (private),
who were always there for her.
