MRS. LILL, 68, DIES AT HOME
Funeral Services Will Be Held On Friday Afternoon
Mrs. Robert Lill, 68, died last night at the home, 436 North Sixth
street. Death was due to a heart attack.
Funeral servives will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Wattawa,
Urbanek and Schlei funeral home in charge of Rev. D.G. Ristad of the
First Lutheran church. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Lill, whose maiden name was Mary Kulnick, was born at Manitowoc
Rapids in 1868 and was married to Robert Lill February 5, 1887. Mr.
and Mrs. Lill observed their golden wedding anniversary in February.
Mr. Lill was one of the city's pioneer cigar manufacturers and
operated a factory here for years.
Husband Survives
Mrs. Lill was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors are the widower; a son, Capt. Archie Lill, Vero Beach, Fla.;
four sisters, Mrs. Charles Hartwig, Mrs. Al Schroeder and Mrs. George
Kellner, all of this city, Mrs. Ed Hartman, Portland, Oregon; five
brothers, Charles, John and Walter, of this city, James, Berlin, Wis.,
Otto, Port Washignton.
Capt. Lill is enroute to Manitowoc from Florida to attend the funeral
of his mother.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Wednesday noon until
the hour of the services Friday.
