BERNARD S. LEVENDUSKY

Bernard S. Levendusky Sr., 88, of 1224 N. 23rd Street, Manitowoc, died Sunday
evening, June 3, 1990, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m.
at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated by Rev. Jeffrey VandenHeuvel with burial to follow at Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born April 12, 1902, in Manitowoc, son of the late Jacob and Martha
Skorch Levendusky. He married the former Marion A. Rohrer on November 10, 1924,
at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death September
22, 1982. He was licensed as a Masters Plumber since 1927 and then was employed
with Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company as a foreman for 27 years. He was transferred
to Arco, Idaho from 1951 thru 1952 to work on nuclear powered submarines for
Manitowoc Shipbuilding company. He then retired in 1967. In 1973 he retired as
Vice-President of Coin Appliances, Inc. of Milwaukee. He was a member of
Manitowoc Management Club and a 55 year member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries
No. 706. He was a Veteran of World War I serving in the United States Army.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerome and Ann Levendusky of
Milwaukee, Bernard and Betty Levendusky of Manitowoc, Robert and Priscilla
Levendusky of Milwaukee; a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Marge Levendusky
of Manitowoc; two sisters, Miss Valeria Levendusky of Manitowoc, Mrs. Russell
(Lillian) Trastek of Manitowoc; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by a brother, Nick.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until the
time of service. There will be no Monday evening visitation.
