Mrs. Esther Lerche, 67, of 3002 S. 10th Street, Manitowoc, died Friday evening, Oct. 19, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Steven D. Miles will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Lerche, nee Esther Yohanek, was born Jan. 12, 1917, in Central City, Iowa, daughter of the late George and Nora Musgroves Yohanek. She came to Manitowoc to reside with her parents as a young lady. She married Paul W. Lerche on Sept. 12, 1953, at Reno, Nevada. He preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1980.
Survivors include two sisters and brothers-in-law, Violet and John Reininger of Manitowoc and Eva and Frank St. Martin of Sparks, Nevada; four brothers, Edward, Joseph, and Charles of Manitowoc and George of Stafford, Virginia; a stepson, David Lerche of Manitowoc, and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock this Sunday afternoon and from 9 a.m. Monday until the time of services.
