MILDRED LOUISE LENSMEYER

Mildred (Jung) Lensmeyer, age 90, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003 in Chandler, Ariz.
Mildred was born Nov. 13, 1912 in Manitowoc, the daughter of John and Margaret
(Adler) Jung, she was a graduate of Lincoln High School and Holy Family School of
Nursing, Manitowoc. During her career she practiced her profession with enthusiasm
and dedication at hospitals in Manitowoc and Casper, Wyo. Mildred married Bernard F.
Lensmeyer in 1935 in Sheboygan and moved to Casper, Wyo., where they owned an
insurance agency. Mildred and her husband retired to Chandler, Ariz.
Survivors include one son: Bernie (Pat) Lensmeyer of Columbia, MO.; four grandchildren:
Kristin (Glenn) Leshner, Columbia, MO.; Mark (Tricia) Lensmeyer, Olathe, Kans.
Rockne (Luann) Corbin, Columbia, MO.; Clay (Nancy) Corbin, Lancaster, Ohio; and five
great-grandchildren. Two brothers: Elwood (Arlette) Jung, Manitowoc; and Robert
(Wynoma) Jung of Chandler, Ariz.; and one sister-in-law, Delores (Melvin) Jung of
Manitowoc also survive.
Preceding her in death are her husband; her parents; one brother: Melvin, Manitowoc;
and one sister: Elaine (Sam) Sornborger, West Covina, Calif.
Memorial services for Mildred will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003 at Pfeffer Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. with the memorial service
immediately following at 11 a.m. Pastor Richard Miller will officiate. Interment
will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Voluntary Action Center endowment Fund in
care of the Voluntary Action Center, 800 N. Providence Road, Columbia MO 65203.
