IRENE LIEBERT (d. 1991)

Miss Irene J. Liebert, 84, formerly of 1311A S. 9th St., died Sunday afternoon,
August 25, 1991, at Shady Lane Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Memorial services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church. Rev. Arno Wolfgramm officiating with cremation having taken
place and burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
She was born February 4, 1907, in Toledo, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles and
Elizabeth Hoffstadt Liebert. She attended Public School and Lutheran School in
Manitowoc and later attended the Business College. She was a Secretary for
Attorney R.O. Schwartz for many years, retiring in 1971. She was a member of First
German Evangelical Lutheran Church and Ladies Aide and was a member of the Rahr
West Art Museum Association. She belonged to the National Member of the Smithsonian
Associates and a member of the Friends of Manitowoc Public Library and was a member
of Manitowoc Senior Center.
Survivors include nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, two half
brothers and two half sisters.
There will be no Tuesday evening visitation. Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted
the family with funeral arrangements.
