Cherry E. LeBreck, 78, of 702 S. 26th Street, Manitowoc, died Monday, January 28,
1991, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday from the Jens Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m.
at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Rev. Ronald Reimer
and burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
She was born March 4, 1912, in Hebron, Illinois, daughter of the late Samuel and
Emma Schultz Branston. She married Merle J. LeBreck on February 28, 1931, in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, the Christian
Ladies Association and the Elks Ladies.
Survivors include her husband, Merle; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Jan
LeBreck of Manitowoc; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Theresa M. LeBreck of
Milwaukee, Barbara and Bob Mendillo of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Mary and Ernie
Scorelle of Fort Myers, Florida, Catherine M. LeBreck of Houston, Texas; one
brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and LaVerne LeBreck of Eagle River,
Wisconsin; 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by two brothers and one grandson, Anthony LeBreck.
Friends may call at the Jens Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. Thursday evening with a
prayer service at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon William Klein. Memorials may be made
to the North End Hospice and St. Paul's Catholic Church.
