Did He Kill His Father?
Mystery Surrounding the Death of a Manitowoc Man
Manitowoc, Jan. 5.-
Linas Lawrence, an old and respected citizen, died last night. It is alleged
that death was caused by a severe beating which his son Louis administered
about two weeks ago. Mr. Lawrence had been confined to his bed ever since
and had been gradually failing, until last night death ended his sufferings.
The son was arrested this morning and will be held until a post mortem
examination has been held. Mr. Lawrence was 82 years old.
