Harold W. Last, 77, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, died Sunday morning, July 15, 1990 at Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rev. Glenn H. Unke will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

He was born April 29, 1913 at Maywood, Illinois, son of the late Walter F. and Hilda Bauer Last. He grew up and was educated in Maywood, Illinois, graduating from [Proviso] High School and then serving in the United States Navy during World War II and serving overseas as a Petty Officer First Class. He moved to Manitowoc in 1953 from Elgin, Illinois. In Manitowoc, he worked for Manitowoc Engineering Company until his retirement.

He married Anne G. Michal on May 10, 1947 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. They moved to Minocqua, Wisconsin, returning to Manitowoc in 19??. He is a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Anne Last of Manitowoc, a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. William and Letty Last of Winnepeg, Manitoba, Canada; a brother, Walter O. Last and two sisters, Myrtle Olson and Dorothy Miller, all of Illinois; step brothers, step sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
