Mr. Daniel M. Langnese, 67, of Crystal Falls, Mich., died Friday morning, Nov. 14, at Veterans Medical Center, Iron Mountain, Mich.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore J. Hendricks will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Graveside military service will be accorded by Manitowoc Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 659.
Mr. Langnese was born June 17, 1913, at Milwaukee, son of the late Christian and Daisy Stone Langnese. He married Caroline Skrivanie, June 6, 1953, at Crystal Falls, Mich. The couple moving to Manitowoc to reside after their marriage. Mr. Langnese had been employed by various companies in Manitowoc and Chicago. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States Army Air Force in the Pacific Theatre and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post of Crystal Falls.
Survivors include his wife, four sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas J. Hujcke, Daniel J. Langnese, William and Cindy Langnese, James Langnese; four daughters and a son-in-law, Emily and Jim Phillips, Sharon Shanow, Debbie and Dawn Langnese all of Manitowoc; a sister, Ann Ekola of Crystal Falls, Mich.; eight grandchildren. A brother, William and three sisters, Daisy, Hazel and Violet preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
