REINHARD LANGE
Reinhard Lange, 82, of Rt. 5, Manitowoc, died Monday morning at Holy Family
Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Redeemer
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arthur Senn will officiate
with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Lange was born Nov. 24, 1894, at Manitowoc son of the late Bernard and Mary
Miller Lange. He attended Lutheran schools and married Elsa Baeckman Aug. 6,
1919, at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death in 1974. He had been employed for
Chicago North Western Railroad Co. as a fireman and later as an engineer,
retiring in 1956.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Dorothy) Ringmeier and Mrs. Earl
(Loretta) Hecke, of Manitowoc; a brother, Ervin, of Waukesha; a sister, Mrs.
Erma Kort, of Freeport, Ill., four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc from 6 to 9 o’clock this Monday
evening and at the church from noon Tuesday until the time of service.
