MARGARETHA LANGE

After twelve weary years of battling with disease, death came as an angel
of deliverance to Mrs. Henry Lange, and she calmly passed to her eternal
rest at her home on Fourth street at 9:30 o'clock this morning. All that
medical skill and loving kindness could suggest was done for the sufferer
but for nine years she has been unable to leave her couch without
assistance. She was born in Germany, Jan. 9, 1847, and came to this country
in 1874. In 1883 she was married the Henry Lange and they took up their home
in this city, where they have since resided. Two children blessed the union
and both survive to mourn the demise of a loving mother. She was a woman of
many excellent traits of character and bore her affliction with patience and
christian fortitude. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the community.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
