MARION H. LANG

Marion H. Lang, age 76, a Manitowoc resident, currently residing
at River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died
Thursday evening, March 8, 2007, at River's Bend.
She was born Feb. 19, 1931, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late
George and Rose (Schambrung) Popp. On Feb. 26, 1949, she married
Donald H. Lang at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He
preceded her in death in May 1991. Marion was a nursing assistant
at Holy Family Memorial Hospital until her retirement. She was
artistic in floral arranging, drawing, painting, cake decorating
and crocheting. Marion was a member of St. Francis of Assisi.
Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law: Daniel and Nancy Lang, Georgia; Kenneth and Debra Lang, Illinois; and two daughters and sons-in-law: Mary Lynn and David Schmeda, Manitowoc; Judy Ann and Charles Zich, Menasha. She is further survived by a daughter-in-law: Kathy Lang, Texas; 12 grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law: Arnold and Mary Popp, Minnesota; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Elizabeth and Joe Sleger, Manitowoc; Marcella and Robert Brandl, Manitowoc; and a sister-in-law: Caroline Borchardt and her husband: Wilbert, Mishicot. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was also preceded in death by a son: Russell R. Lang in 1987;
a grandson: Brandon Schmeda; a brother: Raymond Popp; and a
brother-in-law: Robert Brandl.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2007,
at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall St., Manitowoc. Officiating
at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Monsignor Jim
Vanden Hogen. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, will take
place at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of
Assisi on Marshall St., Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 12,
2007, until the time of service at 11 a.m.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is
assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Russell Arnold Lang, 28, of 1876 N. Baylen Avenue, Pensacola, Florida, died
April 27, 1987 at a Galveston, Texas, hospital, following an industrial boat
accident. Memorial service will be 10 am Saturday, May 9th at St. Andrew
Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Father Stamborski will officiate with cremation
having taken place to Galveston, Texas.
Mr. Lang was born May 13, 1958 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, son of Donald and
Marion H. Lang. He was educated in Manitowoc and was a First Mate for Nicor
Marine Corp. He married Kathy Macalusa, 1876 N. Baylen Avenue, Pensacola,
Florida on November 3, 1980 at Corpus Christi, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Lang; two daughters, Tiffany and Anne Lori,
at home; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Williams at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Donald H. Lang of Manitowoc; two brothers, Daniel of Manitowoc and Kenneth of
Ottawa, Illinois; two sisters, Judith Zich of Menasha, Wisconsin and Mary Lynn
Schmeda of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
