Michael J. LaFond, 24, of 1502 Kuhl Street, Manitowoc, died Friday morning, September 7, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Leo J. Schmitt and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. LaFond was born November 2, 1959, at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of James J. LaFond and Rita Delsmann LaFond. He attended Holy Innocents Catholic School and graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1978. Mr. LaFond was employed at Smalley Manufacturing Company, Manitowoc.
Survivors include his parents, James and Rita LaFond of Manitowoc; a son, Michael, of Manitowoc; two sisters, Michelle LaFond of Denver, Colorado, and Suzanne LaFond of Madison; his grandparents, Quirin and Irma Delsmann and Mrs. Roland (Martha) LaFond of Manitowoc, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday where a prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. by Deacon Ken Nelesen.
