LUCY ELIZABETH LACEY

FORMER RESIDENT, DEAD AT SALT LAKE CITY, TO BE BURIED HERE
COMPLYING WITH DYING REQUEST
Word was received here Tuesday of the death Monday afternoon of Mrs.
Lucia Lacy at the home of her son, John Beach at Salt Lake City, Utah
at the age of 80 years. Mrs. Lucy will be remembered here by many of
the older residents, as a teacher in the old Third ward school, having
resided in this city about thirty five years ago. Besides her son John,
she is survived by another son, Carmi of Chicago, and a sister, Mrs.
H.D. Smalley of Minneapolis, Minn. The remains will arrive here for
interment at Evergreen Cemetery probably about next Monday, it being
her request to be laid to rest near her father, the late John
Langworthy. Further notice of the funeral arrangements will be given
later.
