Mrs. Joseph C. Kirch, 66, of 1002 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning
at her home, following a heart attack. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Tuesday
at Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc and 10 am at Holy Innocents Catholic Church,
the Rev. E.A. Radey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kirch was born Agnes Novak, March 21, 1900 at Reedsville, daughter of the
late John and Catherine Strouf Novak. She attended St. Mary Catholic School at
Reedsville and was married to Joseph C. Kirch July 3, 1922 at Reedsville. The
couple made its home at Manitowoc. She was a member of the Holy Innocents Christian
Mothers Altar Society.
Survivors include the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Merlin Bolle of Rt. 1, Whitelaw;
four brothers, John of Montana, Ralph of Milwaukee, Joseph of Manitowoc and Anton
of Reedsville; seven sisters, Mrs. Mary Kodulka of Milwaukee, Mrs. Henry Fasbender
of Crandon, Mrs. Rose Boyle of Deerbrook, Mrs. Ed Stengle of Antigo and Mrs.
Louise Burich, Mrs. Emma Kohout and Mrs. Josephine Kubale of Reedsville and six
grandchildren. A son, Jerome, preceded her in death in 1949. Nine brothers and
sisters also preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 3 pm Monday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be
recited at 3:30 pm by the Christian Mothers Altar Society.
