Mrs. Anita Jarosh, 82, formerly of 1815 Michigan Ave., Manitowoc, died Monday
morning at Maple Crest Home, Whitelaw.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Zimmer will officiate with burial in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Jarosh, nee Anita Shimek, was born May 25, 1895, in Manitowoc County,
daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Benishek Shimek. She was educated in
Manitowoc County schools, graduating from Manitowoc County Normal. She taught
elementary school in Manitowoc County and was married to Joseph F. Jarosh in
November of 1918. He preceded her in death Aug. 1, 1969.
Survivors include five sons; Joseph S., Daniel, William and Robert, of Manitowoc
and Ted of Neenah; a sister, Mrs. Anna Tesmer, of Two Rivers, 30 grandchildren,
14 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Two daughters, Janet and Beverly,
two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
