HERMAN J. JACOBSEN

Herman J. Jacobsen, 76, of 1517 S. 16th St., Manitowoc, died
Wednesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following
a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Immanuel
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glen Unke will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Jacobsen was born May 11, 1894, at Manitowoc, son of the late
Christan and Anna Berger Jacobsen. He resided at Manitowoc all his
life. He was married to Lynda Diegel Aug. 11, 1926. Prior to his
retirement 10 years ago, he was a carpenter by trade and had been
employed by Burger Boat Co. Inc., and Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc.
He was a member of the United commercial Travelers.
Survivors include his wife, a son (private); two brothers, Chris
and Fred of Manitowoc, a sister, Mrs. Meta Bartel, of Manitowoc
and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5
to 9 p.m. Thursday. The casket will be moved to the church Friday
at 11:30 a.m. to lie in state from noon until the time of services.
