Miss Cecilia(sic) Hoffman of 627 North Fifth street died at 8 o'clock
Wednesday night at the home following a lingering illness. She was 82.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic
church with the Rev. L.M. Schorn officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
cemetery.
Miss Hoffman was born Sept. 4, 1866, in the town of Gibson. When 18 she
moved to Evanston, Ill., where she was employed as a governess. Three
years ago she returned to Manitowoc to reside with a sister.
Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Mary Lintner, with whom she lived,
Sister Mary Cyril of Holy Family hospital and Mrs. Adam Netzer of Boyd,
Wis.
The body will lie in state at the Mittnacht-Kollath funeral home form
10 a.m. Friday until the hour of service Saturday. The rosary will be
recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
