Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 1999,
at First German Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Joel Otto will
officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Florence was born December 18, 1904, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late
John and Bertha Nienaber Rusboldt. She grew up in Manitowoc attending
First German Lutheran Grade School, and graduated from Washington High
School in 1922. She was married to Carl W. Haase, June 13, 1936, at
First German Ev. Lutheran Church. Carl preceded her in death on May 16,
1982. She was a member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church, a member of
the Ladies Aid for many years, and a former member of the church choir.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth Haase, Chattanooga, Tenn; one
daughter and son-in-law, Karleen and Ned Vogt, Manitowoc; five
grandchildren, Sara, Stephen, Matthew Haase, Aaron and Rachel Vogt.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; one sister, one
brother and one daughter-in-law, Mary Haase.
Relatives and friends may call at First German Ev. Lutheran Church on
Wednesday from 9-11 a.m.
Memorials would be appreciated for First German Ev. Lutheran Church.
