Efforts are now being made through the United States army headquarters in Washington to get in touch with Major Gregory in Germany. Awaiting word from him, funeral plans are incomplete. Mrs. Gregory, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gulfleisch, was born at Waseca, Minn., and was married to Major Gregory 16 years ago. A practicing physician and surgeon in Manitowoc for 10 years, he volunteered for service in July, 1942, and entered the service as a captain. He went overseas in February, 1944, and accompanied American troops when they landed in Normandy on D-day. Later he was assigned to service with American forces in the invasion of Germany. His
promotion to major came in November, 1944. Surviving Mrs. Gregory in addition to her husband and two sons, are her parents, now in Manitowoc, and a sister, Mrs. Emil Shimek of this city. The body will be brought to Manitowoc late today and taken to the Frazier mortuary.

Funeral services for Mrs. Madeline Gregory of this city, who died Tuesday night at the Wisconsin General hospital, Madison, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Frazier mortuary chapel. The Rev. Carl Hagen will officiate and interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Efforts to contact Mrs. Gregorys husband, Major Lawrence W. Gregory, stationed somewhere in Germany have been unsuccessful so far. Cables and wires have been sent to the last base where he was known to have been stationed. The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 7 oclock tonight.
