BARBARA J. FARR

Barbara J. Farr, age 59, of 1331 South 10th Street, Manitowoc, died peacefully
Saturday, October 6, 2001 at her residence following a five year battle with
Scleroderma.
Funeral Services will be held 11 am on Wednesday, October 10, 2001 at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church, 702 State Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Hoffman with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
Barbara was born March 18, 1942 at Augusta, Ga., daughter of the late Harry and
Nellie Seigler Marshall. She grew up and was educated at Savannah, Ga. For 26
years she was employed at Mirro Co and then owned and operated Shananigan's for
8 years. She had been married to William D. Farr, Sr for 24 and a half years.
Barbara was a hard worker, enjoyed her dog 'Beans', her birds and playing Bingo
at Oneida.
Surviving children include: Ronda (Scott) Edwards; Donna (Mark) Leicht; Tracy
(Greg) Haupt; William, Jr. (Deborah) Farr; John Farr; Tanya (Greg) Qualman, all
of Manitowoc. Special friend; James F. Wenzel, Manitowoc. Grandchildren: Carrie
Farr, Matthew Leicht, John Leicht, Stephanie Leicht, Desiree Haupt, Austin Haupt,
Kaylyn Vander Zanden, Seth Farr, Kira Farr, Alexis Farr and Taylor Qualman. A
great grandson: Jason Haen. Sisters and brothers include: Laura Ann (Edward)
Reynolds, Villa Rica, GA; Joann Barrette, Nancy Katla, Ronnie Ketchum and Billy
Ketchum, all of Marinette, WI; Carolyne (Keith) Betz, Dallas, TX; Barbara (Bruce)
Salters, Round O. SC; Harry, Jr (Edwina) Marshall, Augusta, GA. Aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive. In addition to her
parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter: Karen Marie; a grandson: Dustin
Haupt; and an uncle: Dan Seigler.
Relatives and Friends may call from 5-9 pm on Tuesday at The Reinbold & Pfeffer
Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc and from 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church to the time of service at 11 am. A prayer service will be held
at 7:30 pm Tuesday evening, led by Deacon Rich Bahnaman.
The family would like to thank Dr. Shariff, Holy Family Memorial-Medical Center,
Homecare-Hospice and North End Drug for their excellent and professional caring.
