WILLIAM H. EICHMANN SR.

William H. Eichmann, 73, of 925 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly
Wednesday afternoon at home. He had a heart attack after he backed his car
from the garage, became stuck in a snow bank and had shoveled the vehicle
free. As he was walking around the car he was stricken.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, the Rev. L. H. Koeninger officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Eichmann was born Oct. 13, 1888, in the Town of Liberty. The couple farmed
until 1935 then came to Manitowoc where he was employed at Northwestern Cork
and Insulation Co.
He was a member of the male choir of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Suvivors include his wife, three sons, Elwin of Fulton, N.Y., Lewis of
Manitowoc and William Jr., of Sheboygan; a daughter, Mrs. Arvin Waack of Rt. 1,
Manitowoc; two brothers, Alfred and Adolph of Manitowoc and three sisters, Mrs.
Ida Orlopp of California, Mrs. Alman Naumann of Newton and Mrs. Irene Huebner
of Manitowoc; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A brother and a
sister prceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Friday until 10:30 a.m. Saturday when the casket will be moved to the church
where the body will lie in state until the hour of service.
Memorial donations may be sent to the church, polio fund and Memorial Hospital.
