HENRIETTA BOWN
Mrs. Henrietta Post Bown, 87, died early today at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Florence Frum, of 633 North Sixth street.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Frazier mortuary
chapel, Dr. C.H. Phipps of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Burial
will be in Evergreen cemetery.
She was born Henrietta Post in New Orleans, La., in 1863 and in 1881 was
married to Frederick H. Bown. He died 50 years ago. She came her to make
her home 40 years ago and was active in Eastern Star and First Presbyterian
church cirles.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Frum and Mrs. S.W. Randolph of this city;
five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 3 p.m. Wednesday until the hour of services.
