Veteran
1st Lt. Donald R. Bone served during World War 2 in the United States 8th Army Air Force in England. He was the bombardier for the B-17 Flying Fortress "Hell's Angels" bomber which was the first B-17 to achieve the 25 combat mission mark, contrary to the public relations hype that the Memphis Belle had been first.
