Helen Andrews
ELDON – Helen Margaret Andrews, 77, of Eldon died at 10:30 a.m. April 11, 1993, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
She was born Feb. 24, 1916, in Ottumwa to Joe and Leta Vest. She married William Leo Andrews on Dec. 24, 1952, in Ottumwa. He died Dec. 19, 1981.
She was a lifelong resident of Wapello County and was a member of Lioness Club. She had been employed at the Jefferson County home, retiring in 1986.
She is survived by a son, Robert Howard of Eldon; a daughter, Marjorie Keilkoph of Cedar Rapids; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Garman and Gretchen Coltrain of Eldon.
She was preceded in death by her husband; four sons, Tom, Hugh "Jeep," James "Bubby", and Art; and five brothers.
The service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Ottumwa, the Rev. Ival Robinson of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike, Wayne, and William Keikoph and Timothy, Art and Brian Howard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bryon, Joe, Kenny Jr, Harold and Ron Vest, Dewayne and Billy Coltrain and Jim Nevins.
