Funeral services for Mr. Charles Ray Antley, age 75 of Columbia, will be held at 10 AM Monday, August 13, 2012 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating, Bro. Jim McKeithen delivering the eulogy and Bro. C.R. Martin conducting graveside services.

Interment to follow at Old Union Cemetery in Grayson.

Visitation will be Sunday evening, August 12, 2012 at Riser Funeral Home from 6 PM to 9 PM.

Mr. Antley was born on August 16, 1936 in Baskin, LA to the union of Willis Malloy Antley and Etholene Sikes Antley and passed from this life on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at his residence.

He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and retired with the Department of Agriculture and Forestry. He was a loving and good husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Charles Gleen Antley; two brothers: Herschel Antley and Edward Antley and two sisters: Katherine Thigpen and Odell Simpson.

Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Carolyn Black Antley; son, Chad Antley and wife, Angela of Swartz; two daughters: Carol McKeithen and husband, James of Grayson and Michelle Gaskill and husband, Elbert of Clarks; sister, Loe Hardin of Swartz; grandchildren: Ashlie McKeithen, Brittany McKeithen, James McKeithen, Jr., Amber Graham, Megan Graham, Emily Graham, Zachary Jones, Victoria West, Spencer Antley and Landon Antley; two great-grandchildren: Amaya McKeithen an Tyler McKee.

The family would like to say a special thank you for the care and compassion given by nephew, Shane McMullen and wife, Jeannie and sister-in-law, Beth Mason to Mr. Antley.

Pallbearers will be Chris McKee , Randy Ludlow, Roy McMullen, Shane McMullen, James McKeithen, Jr. and Greg Black. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of District 3 with the Department of Agriculture and Forestry.
