At a young age her family moved to Tyrone area and on September 8, 1916 she was married to Weed Morgan at Eunice, Mo., and to this union a daughter, Naoma Francis, was born.
She was a long time member and trustee of the Old Church of God in Tyrone, where she had lived for nearly 80 years. She had been failing in health for the past few years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and three brothers. Those left to mourn her passing are a daughter, Naoma Francis Lyons, Tyrone; a step-son, Hubert Morgan, Pittsburgh, Kans., and one brother, Floy Gibson, Las Vegas, Nevada. Also two grandchildren and many other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the Tyrone Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. H.W. Shoemaker officiating. Burial was in Tyrone Cemetery under direction of Elliott-Gentry of Cabool. [contributor #48248832]
