Lucille grew up in Mt. Park, Oklahoma where she graduated high school. She attended Draughns Business School in Wichita Falls, Texas. During the War she worked for Douglas Aircraft building and repairing Airplanes. She moved to Lone Wolf to farm. She moved to Oklahoma City between 1954 and 1955 to be a stay at home mom. In 1959 she went to work for the Oklahoman as a PBX switchboard operator before retiring in 1981. She enjoyed improving her yard, picking pecans and baking bread and noodles for her family. She served meals at the community center in Oklahoma City and was active in the Salvation Army, traveling with them, taking part in the Christmas Connection and twice given the award of "Volunteer of the Year". She was a past member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Lone Wolf and a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Albert and Melvin Baden.
Survivors include a son, Jim McCorkle of Snyder, Oklahoma; two daughters and their spouses, Donna and Jim Chandler of Ft. Worth, Texas and Paula and Darrell Burnett of Guthrie, Oklahoma; a brother, Oren Baden and wife Geri of Roosevelt, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
