AUGUSTA -- Adam J. Billing, 33, died unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 3, 2012. He was born in Portland on Oct. 29, 1978, a son of Steven A. and Gloria J. (Castonguay) Billing.
Mr. Billing was a graduate of Cony High School.

He had worked for several employers as a Mason for many years, currently with Sagadahoc Stove Shop.

In his youth, Adam excelled at sports; especially hockey, baseball and football. Adam spent his free time fishing in Dickey with friends and family, and even tagged along with his father's moose hunts.

Adam is survived by his parents, Steven A. and Gloria J. (Castonguay) Billing of Augusta; his brother, Matthew Billing, of Augusta, and his sister, Amanda Billing, of Portland, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins, and many beloved friends.

Relatives and friends may visit on Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 3-6 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta. The family invites you to bring photographs of Adam to be put on a picture board at the funeral home. A private, graveside service will be held at a later date.

Adam loved his family and was especially helpful to his sister. The family asks that donations in Adam's memory be made to help defray Amanda's college expenses.
