IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Doris Mae Nabors Weidauer, 72, of Idaho Falls, died February 13, 2003, at her home of natural causes.

She was born May 18, 1930, at Salt Lake City, Utah, to Mr. Nabors and Hazel Marie Hanson Nabors. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Melvin Amrose Hillyard. She grew up and attended schools in Salt Lake City.

She married Elwood Walter Weidauer December 21, 1948, at Logan, Utah. They made their home in Logan and Salt Lake City before coming to Idaho Falls 51 years ago. She was a homemaker and mother and worked as a waitress at LaBaron's for many, many years.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed growing roses and many other flowers in her yard. Her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her most keen interest; she was loved by many friends, neighbors and family and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two sons, Steven Elwood Weidauer and Michael Dale Weidauer. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with Chaplain Marv Eld officiating.

The family will visit with friends on Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday for one hour prior to the services, both at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge.

Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
