Joseph Burdell Robison was born on 16 Apr 1902 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Joseph Henry Robison and Susie Josephine Green. Joseph was the 2nd of 6 children. Dell was his nickname. Dell went to school mostly in Pleasant Grove. He graduated from High School in 1923 as valedictorian for his class.
Dell married his high school sweetheart on 14 November of 1923 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He was then working at the Utah Copper Company and boarding in Magna. They rented a home there and two children blessed their lives, Dick and Max.
They bought a home at 2838 S 8900 W in Magna, Salt Lake, Utah in 1932. Connie and Jim were both born in this house. In 1957 he retired as a Foreman-Magna Plant after 34 years at Utah Copper Company-Kennecott in Magna, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.
In May 1957 they bought their retirement home at 925 Millcreek Way (3495 S 925 E), SLC, UT in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. Gladys died 5 Aug 1969 breaking Dell's heart. He sold this house when he married Norma.
He married Norma Anderson in 1973.
He died of a heart attack in his sleep while resting in his bed 21 Mar 1980, Murray, Salt Lake, Utah. Dell was born a red head, but left mortality with silver-gray hair. He was very creative and could make just about anything out of wood. He had a fun sense of humor that all enjoyed.
