Inez accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a teenager; the remainder of her life was spent serving the Lord and others.
She married George Leonard Slavin on Aug. 16, 1932.
She is survived by her children, Bob (Ann) Slavin, Jan (Harold) Gillit, Ron Slavin, Malva Jones, Vicky (Ben) Romanowski; 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Billie Wilkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, two daughters, Barbara Ann (at birth), and Lee Brandt; one daughter-in-law, Ione; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at Bethel Baptist Church in Aztec. Graveside service and interment will be at Monticello City Cemetery in Monticello, Utah.
