Mrs. Alma Bump of Monroe, wife of Leo L. Bump, an employee of the Brom hatchery here, died Saturday morning at the University Hospitals in Iowa City following a brief illness.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, July 8, 1963 at the Monroe Methodist church with the Rev. James V. Paulsen, minister. Burial was in the Monroe cemetery.
Surviving are her husband and four children: Wallace of Phoenix, Arizona, Carlton of Washington, Iowa, Mrs. Roger (Gwyneth) Lewis of Monroe and James.
There are nine grandchildren; two sisters and one brother living.
She was an active member of the Monroe Methodist church.
Services were arranged by the Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home. A complete obituary will appear in a later issue of the Chronicle.
