Harold Alm, 92, Stevens Point, a Nelsonville native and longtime Amherst resident, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at Nelsonville Lutheran Church in Nelsonville, with the Rev. Jonathan Sachs officiating. Interment will be in Nelsonville Lutheran Cemetery in the town of New Hope.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Monday until the services.

Mr. Alm was born May 11, 1917, in Nelsonville, a son of the late Hemmie and Olive (Henjum) Alm.
He was married to Irene E. Maves on May 18, 1939, in Amherst. She died on Nov. 12, 2009.
He was a member of Nelsonville Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Lynda (Robert) Helmrick, Hazelhurst, Dona (Duane) Fisher, Stevens Point, and Rena (Mike) Drummond, Wittenberg; one son, Harlan (Mary Jo), Amherst; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Myron, Welton and Charles; two sisters, Ruth Onan and June Alm; and one granddaughter.
