William Gaither Ingle, 83, passed away at the home of his son, Clarence Ingle Monday night. Mr. Ingle was a former resident of Erwin but for the past 12 years had lived in Union, SC. He was visiting his son at the time of his death.
Funeral services were conducted from the Calvary Baptist Church and interment was made in Duncan Cemetery.
Survivors are five sons; T.C. Ingles and Clarence Ingle of Erwin, H.M. Ingle of Union SC and Robert A. Ingle of Johnson City, TN: one daughter, Mrs. Fannie Stewart of Union SC. 45 grand children and 53 great grand children. *Source- The Erwin Record, June 30, 1938, Page 1
